HASTINGS DISTILLERS
The Hastings Distillers - a new craft gin distillery which opened late last year in Hastings. CNS fabricated and installed the brass benchtop - which I'm sure you'll all agree looks amazing! So, if you love gin, pop in and see Kate and David at the Hastings Distillers, and admire this benchtop while you're there!
VULCAN SQUARES KITCHEN
We recently completed this large Vulcan Squares kitchen for one of our lovely clients. They do a lot of cooking for large groups and needed to upgrade their existing wooden benchtops. They opted for Vulcan Squares - a very smart, textured stainless steel which looks amazing! The large U-shape benchtop had three sinks - two Valore 650x400x225, and one smaller Valore 200x340x200. The island benchtop at 2.2m x 1.8m was enormous, and meant we had to weld a seam down the middle - our laser welder made short work of this for the boys, and they did a great job.
CNS EQUINE ANIMAL FEED BINS
CNS Equine animal feed bins are made from 1.5mm galvanised steel and are suitable for all types of animal feed. Three compartments (385mm x 600mm) which can each be divided in half again with a removable ply insert, making up to six compartments as required. They are pest-proof and can be latched shut with a sturdy lockable handle. A 210mm wide shelf is handy for all those little feed extra - measuring cups, scoops etc. The bins are movable with good-quality castor wheels, which can be locked to restrict movement when necessary. HARPER KITCHEN, SCULLERY & LAUNDRY
One of our most recent jobs completed June 2021. The clients chose Linen for the kitchen benchtop, and #4 Brushed for the scullery and laundry. Linen is one of our textured stainless products and is the most popular finish in the textured range. It has a subtle pattern, and is more of a matt or satin finish rather than being shiny. It is very easy to clean and more resistant to scratches than the standard finishes. Our team welded in a Cabro UBDH-1210 double sink with drainer and it all came together very nicely.
KENNARD KITCHEN
These benchtops use exposed Birch Ply substrate to create a very fresh, different stainless look, while still achieving the durability and versatility of a stainless surface. Stainless finish is #4 Brushed / Satin.
KLIEN KITCHEN
We are proud to show you another satisfied customers kitchen. This is a '#4 Brushed' finish benchtop. There are three tops in the kitchen, the centerpiece being the Island top, with a hob and study top making up the other two.
WATERFALL END BENCHTOP
A lovely example of a waterfall end benchtop that we did for a client here in the Manawatu. This was a 20mm Classic Polished benchtop with a 300-400mm return on the inside edge of the seating area. Waterfall ends can add a real 'wow' factor to your benchtop design.
DELOITTE BAR - WESTPAC STADIUM
This project was particularly challenging - a snake-shaped bar top for the new Deloitte Bar at Westpac Trust Stadium in Wellington.
HANDRAILS
In conjunction with various construction companies around NZ, we've manufactured a large number of handrails over the last few years.
Two recent projects include the impressive stainless steel staircase handrail for the new AA building in Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North, and the stainless balustrades and handrail at the new Palmerston North Birthing Centre.
AIRPORT CAFE
We recently had the opportunity to produce a custom made stainless steel benchtop for the new 'Touch & Go' cafe on the ground floor at Palmerston North Airport. In keeping with the airport theme, the benchtop was to represent a curved, tapered wing of an aeroplane. The negative detailing for the blue LED lights underneath really sets off this look. In addition to the benchtop, we also manufactured the custom made stainless steel bollard which runs floor to ceiling, hiding a large concrete pole. Not without their challenges, we are very proud of how amazing these new pieces look now once installed!

A collection of whimsical animals perfect for you garden! Made from 304 grade stainless steel they are hard-wearing and won't rust. HUNGRY HORSE CAFE
The Hungry Horse Cafe is a brand new cafe now open in Cloverlea, Palmerston North, with a focus on delicious, fresh, healthy food - all prepared onsite. CNS was proud to work alongside Baldeep and his team in the manufacture of all the stainless work - including front-of-house stainless steel benchtops, full kitchen fit-out including benchtops, shelving and stainless wall panelling.
SHARK NOSE EDGE BENCHTOP
Congratulations to designer Michael Murray from Kitchen Studio Hamilton with his recent win at the 2018 National Kitchen and Bathroom Awards with this feature kitchen. His kitchen included a Classic Polished 20mm benchtop with a shark nose edge detail - proudly manufactured by the team here at CNS. He won the NKBA Waikato Chapter Recognition Kitchen award, and the NKBA Kitchen Distinction Up To $25k award. Well done Michael!

CAPERS CAFE
Capers Cafe moved from downtown to Terrace End, Palmerston North this year and CNS refitted the new kitchen with dishwash benchtops, work tops and a commercial rangehood
WANAKA "WATER BAR"
In 2012 Wanaka waterfront had a makeover with the refurbished "Water Bar". In and out in two days with all fabrication made to plan in our Palmerston North factory, and then fitted onsite. Check it out along with the great views!
ANTISPILL PROFILE
Want to see how the antispill edge looks? Have a look at this laundry sink top. Material 1.2mm 304 Rimex Canvas with polished front edge. Antispill is only around the sink area leaving the rest of the benchtop flat for a practical working surface.

STELLA BAR WHANGANUI
We have just completed the Stella Bar refit in Whanganui. Great job and an awesome transformation. Custom beer tap panels and spirit speed rails for easy use; ice wells and rubbish bins chutes were all custom made to suit the needs of our client.
TOYOTA NZ FOOT REST
Toyota NZ needed a foot rest for their meeting room. As with all their products, they required a high-quality finish. Our skilled team fabricate to the highest standards so this was no problem.
